Ting-Ting Cheng was born in Taipei, 1985, and graduated from MA Photographic Studies at University of Westminster, London, and has based in London since. At the moment, she is having her artist in residency at GlogauAIR in Berlin.

As an outsider in the society, she explores alienation and foreignness, applying language as the symbol of culture and identity, investigating the transformation of messages in communications between different languages.

Her recent exhibitions are solo show at Taipei Fine Art Museum, addaya art centre, group shows at III Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, London Art Fair, Foto Madrid, and Nord Art (Germany).
