Energetic, Strong, Feminine, Powerful, Telluric.

Mercedes Bielsa (Andorra, Teruel, Spain) lives and Works in Barcelona. She graduated in the History of Art in the Barcelona University and trained as an artist in the Escola Massana and the Escola d’Arts i Oficis in Barcelona. She has studied with Perico Pastor, Gemma Guasch and Josep Asunción. She has worked with different techniques and media, but concentrates now in the use of acrylic and pigments on paper, cardboard and canvas. She has hanged her work in Barcelona, in the Diputació (2009, 2010, 2011) and in NauART (2011), and in Alicante (Marina-ART, 2011).
