Christopher Steadman was born in England. He lives and works in Berlin, London and NYC. His work is widely exhibited throughout Europe, the USA and Russia. Upcoming in 2013 he has exhibitions in Moscow and London. In 2012 his work was shown in St. Petersburg Art Forum, Krasnoyarsk Center of Culture (supported by Prokhorov Foundation), the National Centre for Contemporary Art in Kirov (funded by Russia's Ministry of Culture), the Vyatka Museum in Vasnetsov, and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art for which he received the Juror’s Award. His work was selected for Seattle’s Center on Contemporary Art Annual Show curated by Gary Hill.
