I just keep making stuff until the voices inside my head tell me to stop. Then I try to pass it off as art.

Turn Ons Include: the smell of oil paint, rusty metal, selling work, learning new techniques, old National Geographic magazines, ruining brushes only to make them better, studio visits, making people smile through my art, using text, being invited to exhibit, blank walls, blank canvases, old wood, smearing around coloured goo, knowing you can always paint over it.

Turn Offs Include: fake compliments, old cheese at art openings (or no cheese for that matter), having a good idea and the inability to execute, cleaning paint brushes, letting your work control you, not painting, making lists about myself.
